If you haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet, Bucko is Erika Moen's collaboration with writer Jeff Parker, an offbeat, Portland-based murder mystery. As I've been reading it, I've been wondering to what extent Gypsy, the main character's partner in crime-solving, is based on Moen herself. Well, the latest installment offered a clue. A gal who sells octopus art on her Etsy store? Who does that sound like?
Apropos of nothing: What's the plural of "octopus?"
The running joke between Parker and me is that I teemed up with him to write fiction for me so I could have a break from autobio, and instead he's based the story pretty heavily on a TON of elements from my life so now I'm STILL drawing my own autobio. THANKS, PARKER. Sigh.

How wonderfully evil! But it's great to see your work in narrative comics (even if some autobio got snuck in there)!
"Octopodes."
