I don't know the circumstances of the author's life, of course, but my personal opinion is that he might consider adjusting the update schedule to one he can keep, if he is serious about the comic. Not so much because it's any big burden on me, but I feel an over-ambitious update schedule tends to make people rush, and that's not something that would be good for this title.
